Not able to activate Mobile Office on Airtel, any workaround ?

I have a Mumbai Airtel connection. I am not able to activate the Mobile office service of my cell phone by sending the message GPRSACT to 222. I am getting the message "Service not available. Please try after some time" Is there any workaround through which i can activate the same ?

Airtel is acting all loopy since the fire incident in Mumbai.
This is going to be till i guess 1 st of Aug.
I dont think even calling customer care is going to help much as they have all their hands tied.
Wait till 1st Aug for things to settle down and may be it will work.

Finally it worked today and i was able to activate GPRS. Yeh GPRS ki hi kripa hai ki i am online at this hour

In Delhi too, *148# is not working at the moment.I get to see

Service Busy. Please try after some time.
