1>CMOS - Complex Metal Oxide Semiconductor
This is the sensor unit used in almost all of the mobile cam units.the other type being CCD,which is superior to CMOS but is deployed in only 1 fone.

VGA cams r the ones that hav a max res of 640 x480.wont generally find these as main cam units in 2days fones.they all sport MP cams.

MP (Mega Pixel).here the fun begins.
u can get anything from 1.3MP to 5MP,8MP coming shortly.higher the MP count larger is the pic size.but dont get the idea that higher MP cam will give u better pic quality.

2>U cant inc GPRS speeds with any trick.its fully dependant on ur SP.if they provide EDGE and ur handset supports EDGE then u can avail of speeds of upto 296kbps (threoritical speeds of EDGE Class 32)

3>best 5MP cam fone in market now is Nokia N82 also has EDGE Class 32,GPS & WiFi.Price -> 19.3k
cheapest is Samsung G600 but doesnt hav flash.cheapest 5MP with Xenon flash is Nokia 6220 Classic for 17.2k
