ipod nano or a phone?

Hi,
With a budget of 6-9k I had decided to purchase the ipod nano. Is this a good decision for music or can I get a good music phone for around that range?

Creative Zen and a basic fone.
Or a 6233

Nokia 5310 express music edition , or a SE walkman phone in similar range.
What Pathik suggested is also nice, because I won't like to drain my phone's battery by listening to music on a 6+ hour journey.

Nokia 5310 sucks big on battery.
