Samsung throws out an 8 mp rumour.

Just when you thought they can hardly squeeze much more features in a single mobile phone here come Samsung to disprove that. The Samsung i8510 Primera is the next multimedia powerhouse that is to be announced in the nearest future. It will be a Symbian-powered smartphone, sporting more features than any other handset we have ever seen (yeah – more than Nokia N96, too).

Coming with a design inspired by the Samsung U900 Soul and the Samsung G810 the Samsung i8510 Primera will come with an 8 megapixel auto focus camera. We wonder whether the rumor Samsung are manufacturing the camera sensor of the Sony Ericsson C905 is correct - may be the Primera will feature the same camera unit then. There is a LED flash on the Samsung i8510, which as a xenon one is highly appreciated in any cameraphone.

What the hell, only the xenon flash is missing.

Everyone's gonna have a tough time managing this monster.800 euroes compared to C905's 500 euroes is monstrous.

Divx playback and 5.1 surround is nice.Dunno how they are gonna implement the 5.1 surrund tho. Only for hi-fi systems i guess.

God knows...My frst impression was of a xenon flash.Gsm says that it has LED, god knows. My next phone after the C905. Let the prices come down a bit.

Great phone.But the focal length is 5.7 to SE's 5.9. So i guess its a smaller sensor.

Nokia has to really come up with something hard to get to this one. But i love samsung, with the announcement of this mobile, the prices of C905 will come down. Yipppeeeeeeee
