Default Motorola ZN5 - Here to stay!

As reviewed on mobile-review,

Motorola’s neglection of the imaging department in cell phones has been the maker’s tendency of late, although that's nothing to be proud of. Having missed the moment when this segment was only emerging, the company opted to ignore it for a very long while, so most of their solutions ended up several years behind the market's progress, and thus didn't look all that fetching. To mend the things they needed something not only competitive, but a phone that could surpass the rest of the pack. And they decided not to spare money or resources to hop on the bandwagon that seemed all but gone for them.

The first solution of the new breed is the PIXL (MOTOZINE ZN5), which, however, brings nothing extraordinary to the table with its 5 Mpix camera module and Xenon flash – all this is already available with the Sony Ericsson K850i, Nokia N82, Nokia 6220 Classic and the likes. Nevertheless, they have taken this hardware one step further and learned from the experience of their direct competitors to make up one unique device. Put it to you this way – the Motorola ZN5 is no revolution, but rather a revision and aggregation of what others have come up with to date into a user-friendly imaging-savvy handset. And since it was Motorola’s first experience with something of this type and scope, they had a real challenge lying ahead. But as I see it, they’ve coped well with this task.

They need another RAZR to tide them thru bad times. ZN5 does not seem to such a product.

Symbian is just awesome
nothing can beat it. This phone will never be like N95 or SE W960i etc. etc.

The keys on the ZN5 are mechanical keys and not virtual ones like on E8.

@dream...

yaar..thers a limit....

Hell yeah..this phone could beat the knickers out of c9**...let them both come to the
shop before jumping to conclusions...Goliath have fallen before..it could again....
and dont underestimate kodak....

evryone knows in photo dept kodak beats cybershot...even the cybershots makers know that..just look at the product placing....

and even not..just go to a local photo booth and ask them which kodak or sony....

I will kill you if you call me a fanboy again.

LOL.Kodak beats SONY??? Yea right. And horses fly

kodak did during KB10 times, but with SLRS,DSLRS and XSLRS SONY rules. Check out the sale figures in digicams worldwide.

N82 and the C905 dont even compare. The k850 with the latter firmware takes better pics which you wont believe. C905 is in a different league altogether.

WHAT?????????????????????????

sony rules in cam dept.....boy get your facts straight..no pro photgrapher have a sony as their main anywhere i have read..check anywhere..unless they are paid....

try using google for market shares and then speaks..sony is just in point and shoot category..just look up the cam share in india..call some shops...please i know this very well...

photgraphy is my only hobby..and so dont even argue with me....personally i am fr canon..nikon..fuji.....

so pleas...KODAK is BIG in cam than SONY....

kodak is a CAM company..not a consumer elc company....

^^whatever. But sony sells muchmore than kodak. Kodak has virtually no say in the asian market. Beng American, it is outsold by Canon in the US, Fuji, Nikon and Sony in Asia and Europe. If moto wouldnt have come out with their kodak thing, i hardly would have remembered the company anyway.Admit it, kodak was a biggo a few years back, not now.

til 2005 it was one of the most sought after imaging companies

^^...

u know nothing about this..so dont bother replying..kodak is still a big name and it will be..sony is just the amateur one their... just try the no of IP's both registered in that field...enough said..

people in photgraphy still remeber and say kodak everyday...sony is big in japan...but there too other players slaughter them..

just go to akihabara in japan and ask around..i say this coz i bought my nikon d40 from there...
