Sony Ericsson K810i or K790i???

which mobile is better Sony Ericsson K810i or K790i in terms of cam, ergonomics, etc

k810i is going to be slightly better than K790i or it is going to be the same

1 has got edge and the other 3g

Both are almost similar.

Yup, K970i and K810 has same cam and most other stuffs. Uve to decide b/w Edge and 3G. K790i's buttons are large but hard to pres while K810i's buttons are bit smaller but not that hard.
Also 810 got better looks.
I think K790 is for 9.8k and K810 for 10.8k both w/o mem card.

I just bought a K790i yesterday and i love it. But its screen brightness is not as good as compared to lower model like K550i which got TFD screen but k790 got only TFT.

Go for K810i.

1) keypad turns into camera function pad with bluelit LED's glowing indicating camera function assigned to each key (while in camera mode)

3) much better shutter
4) improved joystick

Also consider Sony Ericsson C702, new phone for 15k.

K810i period! a gr8 phone. I tried K790i before I bought(now sold!) this set.

the main problem with K790i is ,the camera flip will open and take snaps of your pocket now with K800+ they fixed this.

now if 3G ever comes to India ,this set can utilize that too.

go for N73Me despite its horrible interface and being slow, i think it suits you......
as you have lots of time and patience.

I find it funny that Sony Ericsson has to release one version for EDGE & one version for 3G.

Why can't it release just one version which supports both EDGE & 3G like Nokia ?

k810i is good phone and having some more features and better music quality than k790i
but some ppl have problem with its keypad
but k790i has more VFM.

Dude.thats coz india is one of the minorities who are still to receive 3g as a norm, SE is still growing as a company.K790 was relesed in 2005 whn the company was only 4 years old.Now most SE phones have all the connectivity options.
