Default Nvidia 9xxx Mobile series, launch date anyone?
Hi,

I was considering buying XPS, however i found that nvidia 9xxx Mobile series is going to launch this summer? can anyone confirm this?
and any idea as to when would Dell shift to the new GFX chipset?

Lol..i read nvidia as nokia..

yep..announced yesterday...but dont expect to see it anytime soon..and if you do..it will cost a bomb..

It launched yesterday. And Dell would be the first to reflect the changes. Just wait and watch

thats cool.. i hav 2 months holidays, before the next sem starts. Hoping it would find its way into XPS by then.
any idea about performance?

From June 1st onwards, option for 128MB 8600GT is not available in the customisation page for XPS M1530.
