Will Nokia 6630 work in US ?

Please let me know if Nokia 6630 will work in the USA ?

If not then what options do i have ?

Nikia 6630 has Triband Frequency. GSM 900/1800/1900 Mhz. USA uses GSM 850 also. So it may work in some areas and may not work in some. A Quadband phone is necessary to be able to use all over world.

Depends on your service provider. For e.g. see this: http://www.gsmworld.com/cgi-bin/ni_map.pl?cc=us&net=be If you are in the east coast then an AT&T connection will probably work for you. So first get to know the region and then ther service provider.

Actually this for my Bro and he is going to Jacksonville, Florida. I checked the above link and found that AT&T has its services there 1900Mhz.
