VLC Player on iPhone iPod Touch

I was thinking now that the SDK is out do you think that El Jobso, in his infinite wisdom, would allow a port of VLC player to his babies, what with near universal codec support and all.

Consider that it might allow people to play all sorts of files and may be a threat to its policy to promote iTMS content by introducing codec restrictions.
