Default formattin m2


i recently bought a w200i phone with 128mb m2 card. when formatting the phone asks for a security code. wonder what is should enter. i have an airtel connection. (i could have formatted in windows but the size it shows is not 128 its around 102mb..i wonder where the rest of the space has gone cos i've never installed any applications/games/themes)

The default security code, if I remember correctly, is 12345. If it doesn't work, try 00000.

DO NOT format the card in your PC. Always do it in your phone.

Also, you won't get the full memory that is printed on the card, it's always a bit less. That's normal. For example my 1GB original Sony M2 card only had 910 MB in it.

the phone asks for a 8 digit code. i tried all 0s and 12345678(in reverse order too) but they didn't work. now how shud i know the right code?

The security code can be 8 digit long, but the code in your phone need not necessarily be 8 digit long, unless it was changed. The default code is 12345. If it is not working, then you must've changed it. In that case only you know what the code is.
