CANON IXUS 80 or A720 IS

hi guys... i want to buy a new digi cam... the above two are my options, budget is <12k... can u guys tell me the best among these two?

One more vote for Canon A120IS.. if you want the manual options..!
If you just want a no-frills simple P & S cam, an IXUS 80 too would suffice. Both have good image qualities..

ixus is a good looking good for nothing cam..have had an ixus 50 and the cam was out of focus more often than not...

both have almost the same price tag.... shud go for a720 rite? but ixus 75 n ixus 80 looks really cool n compact...

^^ That depends on what you need.
For a simple compact p & s - mainly for indoor or party/portrait photography - ixus 80
For more controls on photography - wanna try a little more - a720. Both have IS .. but A720 has 6x zoom and manual, Av, Tv modes also..
