What is Unlocking of cell phone? why it is use?
we r Giving our IMEI no to other it is safe? lots of Qs in mind pls answer & explain it to me thankyou

AFAIK
IMEI is the unique-id given 2 each fone...when they r developed...  unlocking means unlocking some new features such as possibility of using any SIM Card....such as "iphone unlocked" e.g: suppose if a hacker somehow makes a CDMA fone compatible with any SIM card....then its called unlocking dat fone....get it...

will CDMA accept CDMA Sim Card after unlocking CDMA Phone????
Does anybody knows how to unlock Blackberry Pearl 8100? I checked www.theunlocker.co.uk but blackberry pearl isn't listed there.
