I got a 1GB Memory card for PSP from Sony World (B'lore) last month for 1350/-
The guy said 2GB costs 1950/-

You might get the memory cards for lesser rate in the grey market.

I had once bought a fake 2gb M2 card for my phone for 1.6k, hoping that it'll turn out all right. Well, it didn't . On the same day it got corrupted and was refusing to get formatted. So I had to replaced it with a 1gb genuine Sony card for 1.3k .

Genuine is always better! In this case, there is a 5yr warranty on the Memory Card..!

Buy original ones only. Fake ones would not have the capacity they claim to have. If they say 1GB, you'll have only 256MB.

Buy from Sony World or from some reputable photography shop.
