Is nokia 5310 ok??

hi guys ,

I am going to buy the nokia 5310 xpress music edition phone , just wanted to know from the current owners that is the phone good , i really liked the design and the interface, but i read somewhere that the phone has bad hanging/restarting problems . Also i read somewhere that the phone is alow and sometimes can not detect the micro sd card!!!

if not this phone my other option is Sony Ericssion 660i , how is that phone?

Or suggest me a good phone with price ranging within 10k.

w580 is slider , i want candybar .

5700 is fat, i like slim phones. thats why i chose 5310 but the user reviews hint ptoblems i stated above.

w660 is good but the screen size is small.

w810i is good , what si the approx price of this one?

the sound quality is superb and camera of this phone also decent just like k750i

AFIAK .. the nokia has stopped production of the 5700 .. So it might be a problem getting it...
And also .. the sound level of the 5310's speakers is tooo too low..
So go for the W580..

N5310, W610, W660, K790i. I won't recommend W810i due to lack of A2DP.

doesn't make any difference. A2DP is a battery sucker, available headphones are very costly and lack the quality of similarly priced wired earphones

eg: you get decent S9 for Rs.2.5k and for the same price you get Shure E2C

awesome phone. way better than 5310.

btw, i use moto s9 with 6233 all the time and my battery life hasn't changed much. so i dont think a2dp is too much of battery sucker.

tested 5310, found worst in music & speed. e51 too has worst music but gr8 speed. anyway both are slim & small handsets.

the w580 was a disgrace when launched..the buttons broke easily..but it has been refurbished and the new lots doesnt have any such problem

the old lot has been discontinued for good...just check the manufacturing date...make sure its 2008

That was the case with the early batch of phones. I think the problem has been solved a long time ago and all the phones on sale now are free from that defect.
