i tried using im softwares on vodafone live, but they didnt work... i guess thats because it connects through a proxy server address and theres no such option on the im's i used... anyway, if theres an option to enter the proxy address, enter 10.10.1.100... dunno if its different in other states, but it works in delhi...

Download Opera mini for your phone. It works like a proxy server. You can view the sites which have been blocked by vodafone viz. wap.zedge.net. However, you wont be able to download because opera doesnt hv inbuilt download manager.
