Default how to take backup


I will be changing my phone from N73ME to SE W850i. Now i have a lot of contact number as well as a lot of TEXT MESSAGES in the phone... is there any process by which i can take the backup of the phone and use the same in the new SE phone...

for contacts SIM will do it , for sms you need to export sms to any document file say xls and import it in your SE , i have the software for Nokia ones but not for SE , have to find it , will find it and tell you , wait till night .....

When you transfer the phone contacts to the SIM, the contacts with long names will be cropped.
I suggest you, use a shareware like 'mY Phone explorer'. It can synchronise the contacts between the Phone and Microsoft Outlook.

Is there any software that takes backup of both SE and Nokia... like Oxygen takes care of only nokia i suppose...

can u just tell me if i can take contact and message backups using MobileEdit... also if i take a backup of N73 can i restore that to SE K850i...
