How to play video on chinese ps3 o.o
i have a chinese kisen p83
and it says that it plays avi n mp4
but every avi that i tried doesnt works on it
so i went to my vendor and told him, he gave me some video's
they work on p83 . how ever i asked them and they are not telling my software name, anyone know?

I googled and found out something from here, uou have to encode them with certain specifications.
Convert videos to avi ,
audio codec: pcm
bitr ate: 128kbps
sample rate: 8000hz
video codec: mjpeg
video size: 240*196
bit rate: 209kbps
frame rate: 8.064
To do the above use SUPER, its free

i tried that software but im not able to choose bit rate of 128kbps i sleect it and
and 2496kbps comes auto

Thanks I needed this info for my new Chinese PDA.
Update
Ok I installed Super & found that the following settings work perfectly with my phone.
Remember the chinese phone uses QCIF resolution which is 176:144 so anything above that size wont play & result in INVALID file error.
Try this setting & report back if it works or not?

It should work, seems some setting or video codec is chosen wrong.

1st make sure that u know the exact specification of the video, best is to use gspot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html on the video which came preloaded on ur mobile in .3gp format it will tell u the specification, now encode ur video using that specifications.
It should work then for sure.

Try 3gp (nokia/nec/seimens) in SUPER video converter. Default settings work fine with k808 tv phone dual sim
