compare it to the XPERIA dude..nokia has run out of designs..look ayt the phones SE has released..mid range G902 with gps,wifi b/g, 5 mp auto focus with photo flash,touch screen and talktime of 12 hours...this has only. 3.6...

SE said 12 hours talktime and you believed them. Man I feel sorry for you. In all these years you don't even know how much SE exaggerates its battery life figures. They say my W710i has 9 hours talktime and 370 hours stand by time. But it won't last over 4 if I talk continuously and as for standby time, I recharge the phone every day. It can't even last one day leave alone 370 hours. Atleast Nokia gives realistic, believable figures. 12 hours chalane ke liye usko Exide ki battery lagani padegi.

^^ Yup. It rocks all right. However the hardware should be fast enough. Most WM phones are very slow. One annoyance is that they've only the Windows Media player. Unlike HTC Touch which has two players they could've added their own player too. Everyone knows WMP sucks.

Btw Nokia has announced 4 handsets. N96, N78, 6210 Navigator and 6220 Classic.

@krazy-dude-i charge my k850 every three days with mayb 3-4 hrs of talking...1-2 hours of music and infinite hours of radio...well..i guess thats quite good..and yea..i agree..if u talk continuously fr mayb 4-5 hrs the charge goes out completely ..

and btw SE does not exgaggerate..its just that the batteries wear out with time and a 3 month old phone will not perform as well as a new phone...

and yea..nokia..wat did it come up with??..a new n95 tht luks like the n81 with the same dual slide mechanism thts coming out in quarter 2...


btw...SE is not finished yet..2 more UIQ phones to be released..the much rumoured P5..

n96 however uses a 950 mH battery....16m colors...umm...i doubt it will last 3 hrs evn...

How many phones have u seen running UIQ??W960 and p1i run quite well without ne lags...and they have enough softwares...

i'm not saying anything bout any lags for both Symbian UIQ or s60.all i wanna say is that s60 is more user frndly than UIQ.

N96 lacks 3d hardware acceleration and has a much slower arm9 264mhz processor as per> forum.nokia.com/devices/N96
note that "dual cpu" tells us there are two seperate cpu to manage the gsm/wcdma stack and one for the symbian os.
Both are not available to the os.

Most current ngage games does not have support for hardware 3d acceleration yet, so its not a big deal for me, btw n81 which is supposed to be the gaming flagship of nokia also does not have hardware 3d acceleration.

What I am really interested is that the n96 will sport a new DAC chip which will supposedly push the audio quality at the same level as the n91 or even better.

^^^ read in a few sites that the DAC has only inc'd the audio quality only a notch above the N95 8GB.it still falls short of the N91 or even N81 quality.

The dac 33 audio chip is on the already out 5610xpress music and it aint doin any wonders in the quality.
Next gen ngage games like asphalt 3, system push evolution look utter crap on the n73 and nokia's gaming flagship n81 as and when compared to the n95.
For me the only interestin thing is the new symbian os 9.3 s60v3 fp 2.
