Dell ships nywhere in India right?

i plan to purchase d Dell XPS M1530 by Dell EPP program thru a friend who works wid Dell...am gettin d notebook at cost price ...but she thinks i need to give a shippin address in Bangalore(i'm frm Udupi ) so dat d sales agent can come n install d pc (dats how she got one)...as i cant claim for any missing contents in d package if he doesn come n check himself...is dat true? doesn Dell ship nywhere in India?

that's not a problem. I got my M1330 thru EPP through a friend of mine in bangalore, and got it shipped to chennai. They'll ship to anywhere in india and for these system installation, they have tie-ups with 3'rd party companies.[wipro infotech , for chennai]..

n is it necessary for me to get the ownership transferred so as to use d services n other things?
