echo sound prb in ROKR E6 help !

My new Moto ROKR E6 is working fine . But when somebody calls me they hear their own echo voice for 1 minute (frnds calling from Airtel and BSNL networks) and then its fine . My network is IDEA ..is there any prob in phone or n/w ? Shud i upgrade its firmware...? plz help

^^ bump..same prob is coming still
I complained to IDEA .they said their n/w is fine ...also when i talked thru diff fone set (SE T610) their was no echo heard on other side .. I had searched the same prob on motorolafans .com ..their also same prob has been discussed but no solution..

^^^^ congrats on ur new fone.

try with a diff connection and see if the echo persists.if it doesnt then surely its a network prob.
sometimes i've the same prob in my N95 8GB.

@ganesh and assasin ..bhai logo..i inserted the same SIM in a different phone set (SE T610) and called my home cell no ..their was no echo on their side.....this problem has been persisting for last 1 month since I bought this ...

plz suggest some solution ? wud flashing the fone help ?

like i called a person A or person A calls me ..he listens his own echo voice on his side ...my side is fine..

problem is that lots of my frnds are complaining abt this ..when ever they call me or i call them ..they listen their own echo voice

now backup all ur contacts and messages using the included pc suite and master reset ur phone..this should solve it..

Most probably it's a network problem.
Do one thing.Remove the sim,put it back after 5 min & rescan the network from your phone menu.

^^ hi all ...i tried airtel SIM in my handset ..still same echo is being heard on reciever's side ...it seems handset has a problem because

1. I tried my IDEA SIM in another fone ==== NO ECHO reported
2. I tried AIRTEL SIM in my E6 === ECHO reported
3. IDEA SIM in my E6 === ECHO reported

that concludes n/w has no problems
may be Motorola repair center can do some thing now ...

ya azzu even master reset and master clear didnt help..im fed ..ssala jitni technology lo utna hee sir khapao .....me jealous of nokia 1108 users

I think Motorola does not test their phones properly... b4 packing!

^^ bump ..hi bruders ..i was so frustrated that i was thinking of selling the fone and buying nokia 1112 (jitni technology zyada utna sirdard so...)

but an idea clicked my mind ..lamination on the phone had created some dust where i put the phone on my ear (lamination was done on cell @ 100 Rs in gaffar market dilli ).....so i removed all lamination and voila ...sound of echo is reduced 90 %
