Nokia 5500 or 3110?

Hi

I have read reviews and all .. but cant decide ..I use N70 .. and always like Symbian phones..
I like 5500 .. infact love the looks .. but never seen it in hand or in person.other option is 3110 but its s40 n i dont like it ..so tell me .. is 5500 has any drawback...reviews says its very sturdy.

Key Facts --
1> I have to gift a phone to my sister .. budget is not much (as usual )
2> req is NOKIA + FM + little bit space for few songs...
3> budget u can guess around 5k or 6k or so..

i can increase it for 5500 .. whats it cost in market..
or is there any other phone coming ..

I think you should go for Nokia 3500 Classic. 5500 costs around 7k. Unless you need a smartphone, i think you should go for 3500 Classic.

+1.. 3500c for 6.2k is the best choice 4 those who dont need symbian

dnt knw bout 3500c ... but bw 3110c and 5500 ........ 5500 is wayyyyyyyyyyy better ........

I would recommended N3500 too. One more suggestion would be Samsung E250 (slider). Except the "Nokia" brand it has everything else you need. I believe you can get it under 5k now.

+1 for samsung e250.It has a 1.3 MP camera.
Get nokia 5500.Smartphone are always better if u know how to use.
If u don't want symbian then go for Nokia 5300.

No where I see mention of camera. Considering the features and purpose he's mentioned I suggested E250. I believe except VGA cam its an excellent phone.

Nokia 3500 has all that he wants. But IMHO 3110 and 3500 look horrificly ugly!

Yesterday one of my friend was confused with same budget and same phones as you are now.
finally he purchased Motorola L9(2Mp ) Rs 7,400( after i lend him some money ). Its a beautiful handset, 5500 and 3110 doesn't stand a chance in looks and features.

its an awsome phone.... with loads of features...

- s60 v3
- 2mp camera with nice video recording
- 3.5mm jack so you can use any headphones
- when you are listening to songs, just tap the phone to change the track
- torchlight
- 512mb micro sd card bundled
- stereo headset hs-29 bundled
- interesting pre-installed games
- message reader

i'm really happy i decided to buy 5500.... and i saw 3500 in the shop.... it looks awful

don't go by the pic..... have a actual look at the phone..... even i found the phone cool when i looked at the pic.... but when u take it in your hand u realize how ugly it is..... the silver outline part bulges out and makes the phone look like a bowl

^^^^ no bhai i didnt like the looks n its display. but its features r excellent in the price of 5.7K. firstly i was not able beleive that it had all those features in that price range. so i recommended my dad to hav that(coz he dont go for looks but only features)

Yup i have seen the blue back cover fone in my hands @ abhishek, infra but didnt find it ugly at all.. and the outline doesnt BULGE out.. its just a bit protruding..

The screen is too small dude. The fone is fast and responsive.. Btw if u can increase ur budget go 4 the e50
