Default Nokia Symbian Camera Interpolation

Hi friends,
I recently read an article that interpolating the cell cam is possible, and it works wonders in improving the quality of the camera.
I want to know how far is this true. I mean does it really make a difference?
Also if possible can u suggest some such softs fr n7610?

Interpolating is just a marketing gimmick (or term) for Digital Zoom.

All it does it zooms the Images in Bicubic Interpolation method.

Why would anybody want to do interpolation? Thats the reason why everybody avoids digital zoom, because it reduces the quality of images.

The best interpolator as of now is S-Spline XL which is not implemented in any mobile devices yet!

So avoid using Digital Zoom in Camera/Mobile, bring it to PC and apply S-Spline

No. Actually you can't focus manually in any of the phones currently available. Only auto focus is available in some phones.
