use sprite backup/message storer .. or copy the x/system/mail folder along with index..

so by this method can that folders also backs up in which sms is there

or if i want change the phone so this method will work as soon i am going to buy a new phone 3500c

You can even use Nokia PC suite, however, it won't backup sms in the My Folders folder.

Even I am using Nokia 7610. If you get a softy that backups complete messages, please share it

its very easy....

1. first move your messages to your mmc
2. use a card reader and go to system folder
3. copy the mail folder to your computer
4. format your phone
5. now go to your mmc and paste the mail folder back to system folder
6. Everything comes back
