A cell under 9 k....

Hi friends .... my friend's Dad is going to buy a cell .....so he asked me for suggestion i suggested him W810i.

Now plz tell me somthing in this range ....basic features required are Good multimedia functions, decent Cam (atleast 2.0 MP) , bluetooth, expandable memory. Only SE, NOKIA(only if battery backup is better thn others) and MOTO....... plz ..its urgent.

another vote for W810i. Tho it will not come "under" 9k. It will be about 9.3k or so.

Forget about W700i.

the best possible solution, as I see

SE K750i 7.5K , has megabass..
1 GB mem card 750/- (w/o warranty..but u can go for it. I got 2 and working fine as many of my friends')
SE HPM-70 earphones ( street name: walkman headphones) 800/- w/o warranty..but u can go for it. I got 2 and working fine as many of my friends')

Plz stay away from 6300. People will throw stones at you if you use that phone!

Just browse this forum for the cons of that phone. It looks slim and good. Thats the end of the story. Not else in it is worth mentioning. Its plagued by a lot of problems.

W810i...Cheerio!
Features aside... it is a damn practical phone. the shortcut key is so very useful, its interface is freaky fast, best 2mp cam in its class, bright n crisp display, very very comfortable keypad-typin iz a breeze, walkman key, n ofcourse walkman branded-thumping sound n xcellent interface, play/pause button can resume n pause music anytime, can switch on de phone as a stand-alone mp3 player even vidout a simcard, u dnt need to keep the power button pressed 4 switchin it on (like nokias) jus one touch n voila, u can set the d-pad to various shortcuts, can jus press "2" for the inbox in msg, even cam interface has shortcuts like "1" "4" n "7" keys for flash, macro n nightmode. useful torchlight, compact n pocket frndly..ze list goes ooooonnnnn.....
well, de loudspeaker is a bit weak, neway dat duznt matter...
i own one!

You can always mod your phone regarding that and can haf everything except a2dp (even a2dp if you know how to reverse engineer the bluetooth stack!)
