Default Boosting the Signal

Hey everybody , I recently shifted to a new house and there's poor signal on almost every phone having AIRTEL connection .
it's in the city but still the network is not full every where in my house .

Is there any cheap (Rs0-500) way to boost the reception of the mobiles ??
Probably attatch some antenna or stuff near my house .

Oh Yes you can use a normal tv Yagi antnenna and with a help of a connector cable connect it to your mobile. I have seen all mobiles have a slot behind them for antennas but sadly nokia does not have it. For that you will have to use a universal connector cable but the result will not be all that good.
Another expensive way is to get a gsm siganl enhancer by Wilson but that will set you back by cool 8000.00
But in both cases your mobile becomes a fixed phone

Post Re: Boosting the Signal

Try wrapping a piece of wire to your phone.
It should help.
Take care of the screen while wrapping.

Do you mean the signal booster chip shown in TVS.
It's crap. How can a sticker thing improve the network.

^^ You mean a non-insulated wire all around the phone or somewhere near the external antenna .

The wire works just like antenna in catching the signals.
