I want a fone only 2 use edge-gprs.....can u plz suggest a list of lowest cost edge phones....(any brand)

ps: i searchd this forum cant find newhr....if it exists plz lemme know...

Is 3220 still in production??
i dont c in wavetel website!

NOKIA 2630 this wuld be the cheapest EDGE phone .... i think so!
will come arnd 4300 Indian currency!

NOKIA 6070 has EDGE and comes arnd 3.5K Rs.!

NOKIA 6080 has EDGE and comes arnd 3.9K Rs.!

NOKIA 2760 has EDGE and comes arnd 3.9K Rs.!

^^ 6070, 6080 and 2760 all comes with class 6 GPRS (177.6kbps max)....
i think 6085 is the lowest handset which is comes with class 10 GPRS.

tr if u can get a 6021
its a grt fone i used to surf net thrgh it for mooore than a year
gave me decent speed's og 4-5 KBPS (via blutooth)

ofcourse m not talkin abt kilobits that can b undstood....m talkin abt download speed wat i get wit a non edge fone...that is 4-5 kilobytes per second...even goes upto 6-7....but guys wit edge usually get 11-15kbps...tats wat m talkin abt...

If GPRS is your primary use, get a second hand Nokia 3220, you may get it for less than 2.5k.
