guys as investing sites etc are banned in my office .........can u suggest me which is the best nokia mobile for trading/surfing net ? it shud have large screen and gud GPRS capability,shud support live streaming quotes........
is Nokia E62 good ?

E62 is a big fone.
E90 is also a bit lenth wise big fone.
But it has a good screen for the Internet.

Yeah E50 is a good option. The screen is quite long and I guess you can browse in landscape mode too. It's within your budget.

but E50 has many issues including automatic loudspeaker bug , no FM etc how will be Moto ROKR E6 in this regard ?

That auto loudspeaker bug has been crushed in fw 7.36.00 i think...
and motorokr e6 is also good for surfing the net but e62 ll be a better option in the same budget.. ~11-12k..

Net browsing is very good on E6 and very easy too. It's biggest advantage is the stylus and touchscreen. No hassling around the up down left right arrow keys like in a conventional button phone.

The default Opera browser can't be set to landscape mode but you can install Opera mini beta which allows it and eveything's a piece of cake from there on. Most of my postings here are done in E6 itself.

Are installing applications on a linux phone is simple and easy as symbian 60 ?

cuz i dont like linux... (sound issues,h/w issues on my PC/Laptop..had installed/unsinstalled 20-25 times )

Nope installation on the e6 is very easy using the mpkg installer... and u can install java apps out of the box...

Linux on a PC is way different from linux on embedded devices. Its very easy to install apps. But the distinction of hafing the greatest no. of apps is still held by the Symbian S60 platform.
