How to upgrade the firmware of my k310i with a .fbn file?

I wanted to upgrade the firmware of my phone. I downloaded the firmware. It is in .fbn format. I wanted to know which software will i require to use that firmware so that i can upgrade my phone.

you can use XS++ or SETools. but plz make sure people haf successfully flashed before jumping into the flashing bandwagon! backup first. if you find even a single failure case then back out, get to the root of the problem, rectify and only then attempt flashing.

I wanted to tell you that i downloaded this flash from this link and the file name was K310_R4EA031_FS_INDIA_RED49.rar It has a .fbn file in it. I wanted to know whether i need only this file to flash or i have to download a .mbn file also? Also please clarify these two type of files and give me some instructions on flashing. Thanks very verytmuch.

yeah, you'll need the .mbn (main firmware file). the .fbn file (the file system), and also the customisation files (custpack). you'll also need XS++ and/or SETools (depending on your phone) that completes the raw materials!

i've never witnessed a k310i flash so i'm not sure whats the success rate. plz read about it, be sure and only then attempt.
