Didn't u get the sony ericsson pc suite with ur phone?You can download it from their website.
Also there is a third party software called Float mobile agent for sony ericsson phones.It is free.

is there any software for Samsung Omnia also like the Nokia PC suite.
My requirement is actually to send sms from my Omnia but typing through my laptop.
can anyone help me on this?

AFAIK a pc suite for Samsung cellphones is available at the Samsung Mobile website.
