Nokia N72 or E50?

Guys, I am going to buy a cell, There are the things that i want:

1. Symbian (v8 or v9)
2. Decent Speed.
3. Good Video playback support.
4. Expandable Memory
5. Good Battery BackUp.
6. I dont mind having a bad camera or no camera at all.
7. GPRS Modem With EDGE for connecting to PC.
8. Bluetooth


I can spend 12k, I have narrowed down to two choices N72 and E50.
Which one do you recommend??

You own an E50, How good is the video playback in E50?
What resolution and bitrate do you encode with?
How good is the clarity of videos?

I have fallen in love with E50, the moment i saw it's sleek and classy looks..

I think i will go ahead with E50, small and powerful.

I didnt really like the 5700, its got a swivelling base, rubber sides with covering for charger, usb on side, it comes in white(hate white).
Its bulkier than E50, looks toyish, I doubt its dubability.

Any more suggestions on E50, N72 and N70?

My suggestion would be 5700, for sheer value for money!!
Go for it, the black n white looks good.

There are the bad things i found out about 5700
white body catches color and looks old within few weeks
the rubber pads on either side gets worn out and faded like in w710i
the protective rubber cap for various slots may get loose because of its extensive use (basically need to remove before charging)

You can always use a cover to protect it.

if out of these three series, i'd suggest N70ME (but its become too common now). other than this 5700 is the only contender. there isn't much to choose from in the price range.

If you can live without a cam, then why not consider the Sony Ericsson W950i or the M600i. I heard that they come real cheap now. You should be able to get them in your budget.

M600i wud go a little over budget but is worth its price. If not M600i den 5700 is d best choice

The playback is good.. I play em at 240*320 landscape.. 160v/48a kbps .. But dont get a e50.. Get the 5700.. The e50s music quality isnt much to speak of.. Also bundled earfones r crap..

Yup @ coolg5.. it works perfectly... also u always have the oss (webkit) browser to fall back on in os9 fones..
but i wd really say get a 5700 if u can add 3k more.. it is much more vfm..
