Is speed+ provided by Tata indicom useful

I want to hear from anyone using tata indicom data card/ usb modem using speed+ software available on tata's site . They are claiming that it would optimize the connection and would enable faster loading of pages.Is it able to serve the stated purpose?

what it does is it reduces the quality of text and pictures so websites load faster there are millions of software that are like that
