1)I am getting max 20kbps Bluetooth data transfer speed, is it slow?

What's the Bluetooth data transfer speed ur getting?


2)2nd thing is that the AirTel network coverage here is always fluctuating.
So should I use any network boosting thing like antenna?
actually is it available in market?

Bluetooth offers typically 1 MBps

20 Kbps might be the prob with ur net connection or phone modem. use data cable instead. if its ok, then you should get 115.2 kbps

20 kbps is data transfer speed of transferring files(songs,video) from my PC to Phone and vice-versa

that apparantly gives no idea of what you are talking about. i mean the devices. what device are you using. is it BT 1.0 or 1.1 or v.2.0?

when do you get 20kbps? while surfing or while transfering files b/w 2 devices? if surfing.. then are u on an edge network. more details plz, only then we may be able to help....

for a ver.1.1, 20kBps is quite ok speed. which mobile are you using? and when was the bluetooth dongle purchased?

I get 55-60 kBps transfer speeds between my W710i and Compaq laptop. I think my laptop has v1.2 bluetooth or it would've been even faster. W710i of course has v2.0.
