Re: internet on nokia 6300 using bsnl broadband connection
ADSL modems uses IEEE 802.11 b/g for wireless connectivity and not the bluetooth. So browsing directly from the broadband is not possible.
If you are having a laptop, then install a proxy server (like analog x) in the laptop and connect your mobile via bluetooth . Configure your phone's browser with the proxy address with port number 6588.
I am not 100% sure whether it will work or not because I have tested with two PCs connecting them via USB bluetooth dongle with one of them having
the internet connection. The connection was shared to the second machine although the data transfer speed was very slow. Also the 802.11 causes interference with bluetooth. So give it a try and let me know the result.
