ipod killer ?? 5k budget ??

i wanted to buy a Mp3 for my dad.....ipod has got no FM and is a total downer also i dont want to spend 7k but 5k and save rest for other stuff !! the sad thing is no discounts only strict MRP price coz i will be buying using a gift voucher of 10k...but i will spend only max of 4k on MP3 player may be 1k for EP 630 if avialble luckily ! and rest if for other electronic stuff !

Max of 5k or may be 6k if it turns out to be great !!

i am thinking of T.Sonic 630 and EP 630 !! hows this pair !
i heard Bass in T.sonic 630 is bad and this should be compensated by EP 630 but too much of bass is pain in ears hope this works out properly

and is the Sandsik Sansa Express avialble in India ?? its got great reviews in PC Mag site ! its only about 60 $ in US For 1 GB !

OR is there any other better MP3 player in that range..i personally dont like T.sonic 610....how about T.sonic 840 2Gb what's its price ??
also what the Current MRP Price for 2GB T.sonic 630 ?? though the SP Road and Lamington road prices are 2.5k !

If u try u can get the sandisk sansa e250 for about 4.5k...
also consider the creative zen stone and the muvo tx..
also the tsonic 840 is defi more than 5k...

muvo tx is old and i think t.sonic outperforms it....i hv given my digit mag to my frnd i will read the mp3 shoot out as soon as i get it back

if Sansa E250 retails @ 5k then i will buy it or else T.Sonic !!

Sandisk Sansa E250 is the best buy at this price. It has colour display, photo/video playback, fm radio and most importantly microSD memory expansion slot. It also has very good sound quality and the provided earphones are also quiet decent.

New Zen Stone has display.

My personal choice would be a Multimedia phone, however Sansa E250 is all u should look for. It works as a plug & play device & will work with any OS as long as u only transfer mp3 to it. Zen stone is 2nd recommendation if u can find it.

my dad has a cellphone provided by company which he can't change he will buy new one soon but he wanted an ipod coz of the hype...thanks to his colleagues but i convinced him there are players better then ipod !! later i will use it when he gets new cellphone...!!!

Look for Zen Stone Plus. It has a screen & 2 GB Flash memory which you cannot expand...but its like a chocolate in dimension . It will work with any OS out there. Just connect & copy paste the mp3/wma songs. WMP11 will sync too

yes i checked it out.....its also cool.....but am impressed with SanDisk E250 if it Retails less then 6k i guess i will buy it !! else i will consider Zen Stone !! Lets see what we can get in retail shops !!

You can also take a look at Sandisk c250. It has all the features of e250 except video playback and has a smaller display. You can check it out at www.sandisk.com
