Default How to handle Mobile Headphones?

The problem is that no matter how much care I take of the headphones after sometime one of the earplug of the headphone becomes non-functional I can`t even hear even a slight whisper.

I have SE K790i and in 8 months i have purchased ard 5 headphones.
The one which lasted for a long period was the one bundled with it.It lasted arnd 2 months.

Does anyone have any tips how to handle headphones so they last atleast for 8-10 months?

o.O

What exactly do you do with the poor things! I am sure you know there is an International Federal Council for the Abuse of Poor Headphones (IFCAPH).
What you do not know, however, is that I am a council member and you are in my sight now.

Be careful, pal. Be very careful.

this happens if you jerk a ear plug, the wire comes off and sound stops coming on that earplug. its happened often with me too. the only solution is to be careful. the more expensive ones are sturdier and last longer

when u store then, don't fasten them tightly. give them some breathing space and as far as possi, don't coil them. jus hang them down if u can. when u need, carry them in a spacious pouch (or a specs case). mostly it so happens that no matter what company headphones/earbuds u buy they become non-functional due to cuts in internal wiring coz of not following these practices. try to find earbuds/headphones which haf a cloth lining for the wire protection. they last longer (but i'm not sure if u get those in the earbuds).
