hey ppl plz help me, i need a cell phone b/w 6-7k
it shud hav followin features....
1. a decent cam(1.3mp cam will b ok)
2. fm radio
3. a big phone mem(for contacts n stuff)
4. gprs..... shud b able 2 run mobileoffice w/o any probs
5. bluetooth(not tat imp)
6. music player wit a decent sound quality....

so 1.3 M cam and radio ?? so its nokia 3110 classic......has EDGE and a music player.......try to read the tech2 review of this phone !! also on other sites and see how you like it !!!!

yes there is even w300i.....sehe how u like that........its got great music player EDGE and USB too........but VGA Camera that is 0.3 Mp camera...also hpm 70 earphones budled

nokia xpress is 5300 and 5700 phones dunno abt 5200 though.......5500 is a sports phone but packs all !!
i dont think 3110 looks that good.......u can check it pics through out the net also see a dummy in shop

believe if u can increase ur budget to 7.4k then go for the 5500... IMO its better than all - 3110, 5200, 5300..

Why don't you guys think of an LG?
Bought an "LG KG300 dynamite" last week for 7200.

And it has got amazing features:

• 262k colour screen
• 240x320 resolution colour screen. 1.9" screen. Pictures are so crisp that I can't take my eyes of it. Much better than a SE.
• 2 MP camera.
• Video caller id.
• Bluetooth.
• Decent MP3 Player with sound quality equivalent to sony, though not exactly like Sony. But much better than Nokia.
• Video Screensavers. Wow!
• Micro SD card expandable to 1 GB(512 MB free).
• FM Radio
• FM recording(unlimited)
• and many more...

But it has got some minus ones also:

• Bluetooh 1.2 No A2DP support(Stereo Bluetooth headsets won't work).
• No Flash.
• No autofocus.
• Less battery backup. Its because the screen is extremely bright. Reducing the brightness solves the problem.
• No EDGE. No problem for me as its not available here.

3110 was my choice before. But after seeing this one, I just changed my mind.

hows the music/ sound quality of cell ?? similar to w810i ? compare with some phone.

w810i? C'mon! that's a walkman phone. Its job is to produce good music.
But LG, that's a general phone.
I meant, the sound quality is comparable to a Sony. But it isn't that loud as SE.
The earphones provided are normal ones, not like hpm 70. and the sound quality from them is satisfactory(don't compare this with that sony)..

You asked about E250 ?
Never ever go for that.
Because:
1. Screen resolution is 128x160. And they have put this much less pixels in a big 2 inch screen. The result is , you can see the dots(pixels) clearly. Whatever wallpaper you put become very grainy on the screen. Image details are lost.
Compare this with the 240x320 resolution of the LG.
2. Music player can't be minimised. One of the biggest demerits of the phone. Means you can't do anything else with the music turned on.
3. Video player is crappy. Because of the screen.
4. Phone gets very hot if used for longer time.
5. Menu navigation difficult.
6. VGA Camera

But it has got edge.

can u tell me a good calmshell (flip phone) in LG or Samsung which has got great camera but within 7k for my sister b'day gift !! though its still 5 mnths away....!! got 2 pile up money for it na...that's why

i have read several reviews about the 3110. it apparently is a good looking phone, unlike popular belief. the gloss in the front and the bright screen and evenly illuminated keypad adds to the appeal. if you are looking for a no frills phone, then i think the 3110 classic is for you. i suggest you take a demo at a nokia store...
