So I am thinking to sell my Desktop pc and buy new lappy.

Most budget laptops still come with 256MB RAM, but this one sports 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD and a DVD Burner. You can even call HP's toll free number and enquire about the nearest dealer. Price is around 27k.

plz avoid the celeron m proc. u can get at least a pentium m proc. that celeron sucks bigtime!!! couple that wid 915 chipset and the rest same. i think u can find a laptop wid this config for around that rate.

The V6406TU features the latest Celeron M 520 processor. These Celerons have come a long way. The Celeron M 520 for example, tough single core, is based on 65 nm fabrication. It's based on the Merom core similar to the second-generation Core 2 Duo processors. So, I feel V6406TU is a very nice option. What other alternative do you have in a 25-27k budget? Most other laptops from Acer, other Compaqs and likes will only feature some previous generation Celeron 3xx or single core Turions.

So is there any other option other than Compaq Presario V6406TU.

well i found out difficult to get dual core processor in this budget.Do u hav any idea?

About some good new games released in 2002 and 2003 i dont know...try to find out...those days 256 MB RAM was like the min limits....beyond mid 2003 nd 2004 enter the 512 MB RAM and GFX MUST ERA ! and 2005 was 1 Gb( i guess so ) and 2007 2 GB RAM !!

onboard Gfx i dunno which is better...but almost all the same ! nvidia ati being better then Intel !
but in a COMP of 256 MB RAM u can play all the games that i have mentioned !!
u can ask ppl in gamerz section abt what games u can play @ 256 MB RAM and 512 too !!

i know my 1 of my friend plays NFS MW on 512 MB RAM PC with some good onboard video..that is really great..i dont know but how.....!!

512 MB RAM and an ati or nvidia onboard u can eailsy play NFS U2 !! tht's all i know !
also unreal tournament 2004 and also Unreal 2 which hv some really nice graphics !!( i played on my frnds comp recently )
