Default HTC Touch...

Hello,

HTC recently released its new phone called 'Touch' in the market. Luckily HTC and Airtel-Bharti made the phone available in india with phone locked to Airtel for 2 years.

I want to use HTC Touch with other carrier. Is there any place where I can get 'legally' unlocked HTC Touch?

Thank you.

You can still pay for tech support. I mean, if you can afford the HTC Touch, you can pay for tech-support, and it lets you buy it unlocked to use with whatever network you want.

If you have to get it with a warranty (which usually doesn't last more than a year in any case) well...like gauravakaasid said, check with your vendor if he can do it for you directly.

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

I have done some research and found out that some websites will unlock the phone using IMEI number. They are providing this service for $40 which, in my consideration, is very expensive.

I will ask the vendor directly if he can unlock it any cheaper.
