6020 connection prob

I am using nokia 6020 as modem with DKU-5 Data Cable, Airtel GPRS.
i am able to connect with pc after reinstalling my xp
what i ve done wrong during installation
i am using nokia pc suite 6.83.14.1
what is the problem
before reinstalling xp i used 6.6 nokia pc suite
and without any trouble am using it
plz guide me where and how to config my set up
as i searched on net i see lodz of prob like mine
but no exact solution..so i thot to ask u frnds coz this forum have realy genius members
help me plz

If 6.83 doesnt work for u then try using the version that u got along wit the fone in a cd...

i roll back to previous version but cant able to connect
wth is tat
is dere anyway by which i can connect to net using ma cell?

If you dont have the original nokia cable than you have to install cable driver prior to Pc Suite.

Problems with DKU-5 cable for Nokia

first get the phone detected properly(check the 2nd and the 7th reply) , then uncheck the option in "pc suite>Manage Connections" then install the phone as a modem through "control panel>add hardware"

i check on another pc dere with some effort cell connected :O

If ur cell got connected on other pc, then u will hv to reinstall xp. But at first install cable driver that came with cable.
