W960i or K850i ?!!?
yea , yea.. i know i'm doing tyhe crime of comparing two mobiles of different segments, but still, this is nerve wecking decision we alwayz land ourselves in...c'mon lets see which one would we go for...
The Sony Ericsson W960 or Sony Ericsson K850 ?

8GB, 3.2MP Cam with autofocus,QVGA Video, 2.6" Touchscreen, WiFi, Walkman Touch Player, MegaBass, Symbian OS.
k850
5MP Cam with autofocus,QVGA Video 30fps, Xenon Flash, 3LED Video Light,
Dedicated Camera On/Off Switch, Dedicated Movie, Photo, Video Switch, MicroSD/Micro M2 Slot, Walkman 3.0 Style Player, No Play/Pause Key, No Walkman Key.

K850i is not symbian, W960i is symbian + sleekness. Thats much better.
To ber very frank, SE should come up with the new camera module before Q1 2008. 3.2 MP is more then enough but now we need better shutter speed & colour reproduction.

W950i comes with everything I require in a phone, sans the camera, So i m assuming that W960i will be close.
For multimedia Playback W960i already has everything.
For checking mail, again it already has POP3 Mail client for my GMAIL & Yahoo mail.
3rd thing I need is native opera so that i can download files & save them to the memory. Like downloading some MMS from rapidshare etc . This is also already there in W960i.
4th thing i need is an IM Client. For this on Symbian Series 60 I prefer IM+, for JAVA I again prefer IM+ or jYMSG. Now, tell me if I can use IM+ for Nokia N73 ME (example) in W960i? If not then still I have the JAVA based Yahoo Messenger or Talkobaut or MOrange or Mig33, something which a "Fruity phone" cannot do.
Taking notes, organiser, appointment, data plans etc...are already there in W960i (cos they are in W950i). I do need a Adobe Illustrator like app though, on which I can simply scribble using the stylus.

yes, there a version of im+ available for symbian uiq!
but the app base is not as huge as for symb 8.1. but nevertheless better than java....

Cool, everything I need from a mobile phone is there. PMP, Opera, IM+, E-Mail, Notes...& I think a scribbling software must be there.

K850i has both the Xenon Flash n the 3LED Video Light. i guess the 3LED Video Light douz somthing gud to the videos.
