Nine iPhone alternatives...!!

Nine alternatives to the iPhone for thise who can't get it or don't want to get it... However, most of these are rare to find in India...

1. HTC Touch

Taiwanese cellphone maker HTC unveiled Touch this month, with a large touchscreen that--like the iPhone--is its main navigation system. The device runs Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system, plays music and videos and supports wi-fi Internet connections. The device, on sale this month in Taiwan, comes in "elegant soft black" and "alluring wasabi green."

2.LG Prada Phone

If you look beyond the posh co-branding, technology--not fashion--is what makes this phone cost $780. The device features a large color display, Adobe Flash-based user interface, document viewing features and music and video playback. Plus, it's only 1.2 centimeters thick. Like the iPhone, the Prada lacks a traditional keypad--buttons appear on the screen.

3.Samsung F700

About a month after Apple unveiled the iPhone, Samsung started showing off this wonderphone. It features a 3G data connection, a 5-megapixel digital camera, a large touchscreen, all sorts of multimedia features, an expansion-card slot, Adobe Flash user interface, full Web site browsing and a slide-out QWERTY keypad.

4.T-Mobile Wing

Yet another HTC smart phone running Windows Mobile, the T-Mobile Wing has ho-hum features like EDGE data-network access and talk time up to only four hours. But it also has a large, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an expansion card slot and wi-fi.

5.Nokia N95

This gadget is thick and hefty but packs a punch, including GPS-powered maps and local search functions, TV-out capabilities to play your videos on a larger screen, and a 5-megapixel digital camera.

6.Motorola Rizr Z8

Motorola's "media monster" doesn't have a touchscreen but supports full-motion video playback and 3G Internet browsing, uses the popular and powerful Symbian operating system and has a unique curvy sliding design.

7.RIM BlackBerry Curve

For business e-mailers who appreciate a touch of elegance, RIM's newest BlackBerry design is functional and attractive, with the usual, high-quality BlackBerry e-mail service and music and video playback.

8.Helio Ocean

"Virtual" carrier Helio, which resells air time on Sprint's network, decided to set itself apart from the pack by designing its own unique phone. Ocean has two slide-out keypads, one for normal dialing and another for text messaging, e-mailing and Web browsing. The phone also has neat features like GPS-powered Google Maps and an over-the-air music download service.

9.Sprint Mogul

This HTC-manufactured Windows Mobile smart phone probably won't win any design awards in the near future, but for Sprint customers looking for a solid touchscreen phone with a QWERTY keyboard and 3G network access, the Mogul has you covered.

You forgot Sony Ericsson W960i

W960i provides 8 GB Storage too & much more features then iPhone like Symbian OS & 3.2 Mega pixel camera. Those who didn't like N95 as a cool device should look at this instead.

i personally liked the moto Rizr.... wat do u guys think..... how's that cell.....
W960i has to b revolution in its kind....

moto rockr - easy on the pockets & decent in features (not on the list) and SE for me as iPhone alternatives ...

but i would rather go for the slick n76 it looks so sexy and the best part its from nokia

These phones are in no way an alternative to iPhone. They are way too good to be even compared to iPhone.

sorry din fro going off topic but i was wondering why is apple spelt apple when its logo is half eaten it should be splet as aple

SE makes super cool lukin fones... must mention the one used in Casino Royale ....actually both of them- the one used by Craig as well as the white one used by the Banker Babe which Craig uses in the last scene

Just to add, W960i is also a touch screen phone with works with fingers as well as Stylus & has full hand writing recognition. It is better to write something while in a hurry then to type it. It is also smaller & liter then iPhone.

^^ Ok... But for a touchscreen phone, I think the W960 has a slightly small display.. They could've increased the display size and avoided any keys at all..

Oh noooo...then Apple would ahve sued them with patent for a "Device which can communicate over GSM OR CDMA network without any keys & just a touch screen keypad"

See, iPhone has no key board, because of which it requires 2 handed operation. While All other phones out there require single hand operation.

Neither iPhone nor W960i support VGA resolution. When you play a iTunes video in iPhone it is down sampled & if u wanna play a video in W960i, simply encode it at 320X240 mpeg4, Simple as that.
