why my 3230 is giving 11.5 kBps speed insteed of 460.8 kBps

I am using 3230 for net access, when i connect to net the baloon shows that i'm connected with the speed of 460.8 kBps(via data cable)
but in morning i connected my 3230 with bluetooth which shows 115.2 kBps
its O.K. coz with bluetooth we get only 115.2 as i know
but after that when i connected via data cable i am getting 115.2 kBps instead of 460.8 kBps
I reinstalled Pc suite and unistalled bluetooth for fixing this issue but am not
plz guide what happened wrong and how to fix it

Look for a Nokia connections or something similar in the control panel. It has the option to set the speed of the data Cable.

goto start>settings>network conn> select ur conn.
a dialog box shud open...over there
properties > general tab> select the modem u r using > configure > max bps >choose whatever u want like 460800

but i dont thk it will make any difference in ur browsing speed though..

i tried all the method
i change the port
port speed is showing 460800

but am getting only 115.2 kBps

can ne1 plz tell me how to uninstall any software, not from add remove.... means no any data of that software left neither in any drive nor in registry
plz tell me how to do it
it may fix my prob

i think system mechanic has that feature....not sure though

hi, U have to go in control panel>phone & modem option>modem . then u will find nokia 3230 usb modem . double click on it and select modem tab then u will see modem speed , select the highest . ur problem will be solved .
