Re: What Speed getting in Mobile Office
I think Airtel's is the best.
I am in Kolkata and am getting pretty decent speeds with Airtel EDGE.

No way.. In my 6270 which is a series 40 phone, I used to get awesome speed in Airtel EDGE. Lately the speeds have become generally low. Now I'm using N80

Re: What Speed getting in Mobile Office
I am using Airtel EDGE right now and the speeds are regularly touching the 200 Kbps mark. Like I said, it is pretty decent.

Correction: They are regularly going to 160 Kbps and never venture near 200 Kbps. I made a slight calculation mistake earlier; never was the best when it comes to mathematics.

I am actually shortlisting the problems so that I can speak to technicians of Nokia or Airtel. Is this problem in North faced by everyone and what avg. speeds you getting with handsets pls. I guess all better speeds are from Bangalore, Mumbai, Calcutta regions

Re: What Speed getting in Mobile Office
Airtel's service was quite good in Delhi, experienced it till Dual APN trick used to work. Got speeds upto and even exceedind 20KBps in evening and night but since the trick stopped working, havent used it coz MO is avlbl only in Postpaid and that too @499 pm.
So shifted to Idea. GPRS is at Rs 5/day.General speeds are from 3 to 7KBps but some areas are EDGE enabled and to my surprise got speeds till 27KBps in my friends home. Have posted the screenshot in this forum too and m preety happy with the speeds of idea and its cost effectiveness.
So my vote, IDEA
