.3gp file not playing well

I have a nokia 7610 and the pc suite installed .My problem is that the 3gp files i transfer from pc to my phone do not play properly.

Let me go into details . I have real player preloaded and Smartmovie player installed but smart movie is not recognizing 3gp .So only alternative is real player . When i download a video file from you tube ( in .flv format ) ,it plays fine in my pc in riva flv player,then i use Alok video to 3gp convertor to change it in 3gp format .When i use nokia multimedia player of my pc to play the 3gp file in my pc ,it says "format is not supported" or something like that and "The video plays but audio does not plays " then,i transfer it into My phone and played it in phone realplayer and lo behold the audio plays but video get stuck in 1/2 of first frame .

Also just few days back i had change one kskbt episode in avi format of length 20 minutes ,It playe fine in WMP ,then i changed it into 3gp format using the same converter ,it played arbitrary in the Nokia multimedia player in pc,but when i transfered it in my phone it played well for 3 minutes and then the whole screen got black but audio of a bad quality could be heard

i am at my wit end ,what is the problem is it something to do with my mobile ,i have just purchased it and please do not give me a freaking answer that my mobile has to be replaced?

my father gonna kill me?

Try VLC player.. Maybe something's wrong with the codecs on your system.. Or maybe the converter ain't any good.
Also, try the 3gp converters from this page.
