Can we use the sam phone outside India

I have GSM phone Sony ericsson w300i which has Orange SIM card . Now will this phone run in other countries ? like UK or Norway ?? I mean if I buy a new sim card in respected counties then will it run? I think there may be some compatibility issue .

w300i is a multi band phone. So you should not have problem using them in norway and UK.

Ya its a quad band phone. It can be used anywhere in the world. Actually for Europe, even a dual band phone would do. Something like the simple Nokia 8250.

dual band will not be enough.
when u say dual band it is either 850 MHz, 900 MHz, or 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz but the networks in Norway operates on 900MHz and 1800MHz. So u need a quad band.

w300i operates in the following 4 bands.

• GSM 850
• GSM 900
• GSM 1800
• GSM 1900
