Converting SE K510i into W800i

Can I update my K510i software with a soft. version that of W800i and get a look of W800i.If yes, How?

How can I simply update my K510i software with a newer version(of same phone). Is there a great risk involved? I don't wnt to lose my phone. Please help me to update my phone securely with no risk at all. After update what would be the changes to my phone? Plz help!

1) no u cannot do that!

2) u can update to a new firmware using an internet connection, the supplied dcu60 usb cable and Sony Ericsson Update Service software (SEUS, available on the cd or on SE site). just install the software, let it check for updates then follow the instructions on screen. very easy to follow on screen instructions and safe for updating the firmware.

but remember to backup all the data first!
