SE W300i

I was going thru the specs for SE W300i.
It seemed to be packed with a number of features including edge / quad band etc at a moderate cost. Its VGA camera may be a downside.

Is anyone using this phone..how is the overall multimedia performance?

Also are the looks of this phone mainly targeted for younger people?
Is it that it won't look good in the hands of office personnel!!

I wanted to have a look at its dummy or sample phone in the mobile shops but interestingly it was not available with all 2 - 3 of them I inquired with.

I've used this phone. Amazing Sound quality. display quality is not good. if you are sound freek (mega bass to be precise) then go for it. black one looks cool. if you want professional look then w800i is for you.

^^ W800i for professional look. lol They'll fire him if they see him with a orange and white phone. Anyway its out of production. A good alternative would be Z550i or K750i.

@krazyfrog...hey boss can u suggest me a good SE fone widin 11.5k max....wud prefer d ones from walkman series.....but if am geting all da features inany other model, then have no probs with that.

i want a gr8 2mp cam (comparable to that of the k750i) n gr8 sound quality, loudspeakers, lots a space(like upgradeable to 2 gb)....

I own this phone. The multimedia quality is good minus the screen size. I don't think it will look cool for office usage but its trendy. If you will be using it for internet too, then take it. Its best at its range. If you have a higher budget than that then dont go for flip phones.

I too suggest K550i for you. But still check W610i. I dont know if its available in market but it has all the things you looking for.

@gauravakaasid, in your budget, i'll suggest either SE W700i or Nokia 6233. K550i would be good too but since you want memory expansion upto 2gb, its currently not possible with K550i as it has Memory Stick Micro which is currently available at 1gb max and is very expensive. Also out of W700i and Nokia 6233, i'll recommend 6233 if you don't mind Nokia phones, as it has a QVGA display, great stereo loudspeakers, 2 mpix camera with VGA video recording, 3G/EDGE, and has a very comfortable keypad. Memory can be expanded upto 2gb at a very affordable cost as micro sd are fairly cheap.
