internet on EDGE ...

can someone tell me how good internet connection will be on EDGE data card?

will the speed be good? will it keep fluctuating? will voice chat or audio streaming be possible.

I dont know about EDGE data cards..but m using mob tht has edge.
The speeds are pretty descent between 10-15KBps. You will get good speeds in the morning.
I can download a 7mb file in less than 10mins using d/l software. Its not that bad after all.

Yeah...EDGE data cards exist. they r actually wireless modems.
I wonder how much will be der cost..

SE has two EDGE enabled PC cards. GC89 has EDGE and WLAN and supports data rate upto 54 kbps for WLAN and upto 85.6 kbps for GPRS. GC85 has EDGE and supports upto 247.4 kbps for EDGE. Both cards are Tri-band and support SMS. Actual network speed may depend on service provider.

Its price may be near around same as EDGE phone.... Better take a good EDGE phone.....

i v heard abt the speed to be good but i wanted to know whether some one has actually used it and tried audio streaming with it..
