Where can we get Symbian Codecs

Hi can any one tell me, where can i get codecs for MP4, Xvid...for symbian phones..If not can someone explain me why?

Better would be DivX player for mobile phones.

Mobile phone is not a computer. You better transcode the movie to mp4

u ll get codecs only for a few... smartmovie codecs r available for mp4 and xvid...
but there are many players wich play many formats..... so just keep using the players rather than hunting for codecs...

DivX app for mobiles playes any avi file. XVID, DIVX, Normal AVI.

yup thats wat i m saying.. He wont get codecs to play all formats in one player.. He ll hv to use different players..

I did not get what you mean.

DivX player plays Xvid, DivX, and normal AVI files.

He will need the inbuild real player to play the 3gp files.

divx/smartmovie ll play divx, xvid and avi..
real player ll play 3gp, mp4, rm
but to play the remaining formats like dat, mpeg, fun he ll need players like tcpmp, crystal ,funvio etc...
