Default Confused Plz Help....:(


i took a N73 a week back...
when i'm installing third party software on it it says that "unable to check for certificate validity"....and the app does not get installed please can u provide solution yo it??

r u sure they are os9.1 apps.. Btw i think u need to change the child installer certificate settings in it..

ya i'm sure ...
i downloaded that from getjar.com
and it says it is for nokia series 60 v3 edition .....(English oxford dicionary)

and BTW wat are these child certificate settings

oh do u mean java apps.. Goto app manager settings.. There ll b some option like check 4 certificates.. Set it to no.. I dunt remember much abt it..

thanq very much for ur help

the app (English oxford dicionary) got installed but how to launch it, i could not find out where to open it from......it might be silly question but plzzzz...

i think in os9.1 the app auto creates a shortcut in the menu... if it doesnt then goto apps n open it...

i have checked in menu apps tools and all available folders in menu but ...could not find it.
i installed theme it can be seen in themes folder may b some instalation problem or setting problem cant figure it out...

Can u c the app s folder in x/system/midp .. X=install drive

when i'm opening the application manager it shows app is installed.
and therez no folder like system but therez folder /installed files and in that i cant see the files.....:S

In os 9 phones, the installed apps are automatically moved to My Own folder in Menu, whether they are java or symbian.
Also pathiks, in new symbian OS (after 6600), java apps are not installed in X:\System\midp but instead in X:\System\Apps just like Symbian apps.

i cannot see any my own folder in the menu...???
